Did it Make a Sound? (3.28.21)

As Susan, Ranita, & I were walking the Nat Greene trail at Lake Brandt, a tree suddenly cracked and fell over out of nowhere.    Of course my first thought was, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear, does it make a sound?"  I guess we'll never know. 

I received some nice swag as a new Outdoor Afro co-leader of the Greensboro Network.

I'm looking forward to working with these ladies and the OA organization to continue to share the beauty of nature to others.

My Little Pony (3.21.21)

 I finally made a visit to Grayson Highlands State Park near Mouth of Wilson, VA.  Although being born and raised in VA, I'd only heard of this place within the last year.  The big kid, Bentley, and I enjoyed the day as we hiked some muddy trails, climbed a few rocks, and hung out with the wild ponies.
