Off to See the Wizard (9.11.21)

 Me and the sis headed to Beech Mountain area of NC to visit the Wizard of Oz theme park.  It's only open a limited amount of time during the year.  Now the ride up the mountain as a passenger was brutal-motion sickness takeover!!!!   I wanted to jump out of her truck going up the curves.  But after some air and deep breaths after getting out, I was all smiles.

We ended up having a funny encounter with these deer on the trail.  That mama deer was no joke!

Golden Aggies in SC (9.3.21)

We journeyed to Furman University in Greenville, SC to support the Aggies first football game in the new conference.  Farewell to the MEAC.  You'll be missed.  Unfortunately, we lost the game, but I had fun doing face painting.  The girls and I stayed overnight and ventured back home the next day.  I will say that the temperature was set to 'hell' that day.  It was sooooo hot, but we survived.

Melanated Campout 2021 (8.27.21-8.29.21)

 I've been wanting to attend this event since its inception in 2019.  I finally made it for  2021!!!  I had such a blast.  If I could've paid for next year before leaving, I certainly would have.  I saw a familiar face (Cleta), and met some new people.  

I've prolonged posting this epic event, awaiting the opportunity to borrow from the professional pictures.  However, they haven't posted yet, so I'll have to settle for my rinky dink pics.

I felt like a kid at Christmas!!!  This was soooooo much fun!

And then this happened on Sunday as I was attempting to leave.  I forgot to raise my jack.  UGH!!!!  Thank God for the angel men he sent to help me out of the situation.

Despite the mishap and my lack of great pics, I look forward to next year.
