Solo Camping-Part 3-Tallulah Falls, GA (11.18.20)

On Wednesday, we left SC and headed to GA.  It was a slow start to the day, but after about a 3-hour drive, we made it to Tallulah Falls, GA.

Solo Camping-Part 2-Riverfront Park & Museum (11.17.20)

After leaving the zoo and picking up Bentley, we headed to the Riverfront Park and Historic Columbia Canal.

Next stop was the African American History Monument in downtown Columbia.

A quick look at the bathhouse at the campground.  Definitely not the best condition, but after a long day, I enjoyed the shower before calling it a night.

Solo Camping-Part 1-Riverbanks Zoo (11.16-11.17.20)

It has been practically 6 years since I took a full week vacation, and boy was it overdue.  I decided to use the time to take a solo camping trip to Columbia, SC & Tallulah Falls, GA.  Bentley came along for the ride.

We spent most of Monday (11.16) travelling to Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, SC.  I also spent the evening getting my photo albums put together.

But on Tuesday, I dropped Bentley off at doggie daycare while I headed to the Riverbanks Zoo.  I was able to feed some birds and a giraffe.  The giraffe tried to lick the back of my head off!  It's a nice zoo. I enjoyed my time there.
