One of my dear friends of 20+ years did an amazing job with her hubby's 50th surprise birthday celebration. Of course I took to the dance floor for a few hours.
I was so excited to lead Outdoor Afro Greensboro/Triad to Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre in Lynchburg, VA. It was our chance to test out snow activities (sledding, snowboarding, skiing) without the actual snow. I prayed and prayed for the rain to hold off, and my good God did just that. The tubing was closed due to weather (we didn't understand why since it was dry at the time), but the rain held off until 2:59pm in which our session was to end at 3p. There were 28 of us total, and it was a great time.
Well, for the most part, I've spent every Friday at Dudley High School football games. Game after game after game, they dominated the field. Most regular season games resulted in 50+ points and sent us to the 3A championships at Kenan Stadium at UNC Chapel Hill. WE WON!!!!!!
