Who drives all the way to Chattanooga,TN (6 hours) and forgets their clothes??? Meeeeeeeee!!!
I still had an enjoyable and peaceful trip. Thank God for Walmarts.
I enjoyed touring the caverns and waterfall at Ruby Falls and walking the Walnut Street Bridge. Since I was a wee little lad, my favorite school field trip was our yearly visit to Dixie Caverns. Seeing the formations are absolutely amazing! Video of Ruby Falls at the end.
There were a few hiccups:
1. I forgot my overnight bag with my clothes and sneakers
2. As I made my way up the mountain, a tire pressure alert came on, so I stopped in Asheville. The peeps at Precision Tune said the pressure was fine, and that it must be a sensor issue. Which leads to #3.
3. Rudy has some type of electrical issue going on right now. As I was driving on the highway to my "camping" location, my headlights just turned on and off completely several times. And of course it was after 9pm, so it was dark.
4. I woke up in the middle of the night to pee a trillion times. I also woke up to the sound of some trespassers lying and getting kicked off of the property.
But overall, I'll mark the first van-camp trip in Rudy a success. I made it to my location safely, enjoyed myself, and made it back home safely. Praise God!
Where to next???
