As my week long vacay comes to an end, I couldn't say no to my Sis' request to go to Hanging Rock for her first time. I am of course still chasing waterfalls. A friend of hers met us there, and he introduced me to a different waterfall that I had never knew about. It was a beautiful day.
She had to reschedule her 50th birthday party, but Joi was finally able to celebrate it and the launch of her business, The Messy Crafter. She looked beautiful, and came out singing Jill Scott's 'Golden'. It was great to see some of my MTZBC fam. We wore masks for the party, but I had to get a few pics without them. Lord, be with us.
We woke to brisk morning and headed to hike the North Rim Trail. Since pets aren't allowed on all parts of the park, I'll have to go back to get closer to the gorge and waterfall. But it was a great hike and a beautiful place.
After a great shower, we headed back to NC. We stopped in Charlotte to visit my sister and meet my nephew, Jonas. He & Bentley had a very interesting first visit.
