Introducing.......Roadrunner Rudy

For the past almost 3 years, I've been on a mission to get some type of RV, camper, etc.  After a few test trials and finally purchasing my own van, I'm ecstatic to finally have my very own, self-converted minivan camper.

I'm looking forward to many trips with her.

I have been accumulating items over the past few years for my "build".  From my previous test trials I had my camp stove and fuel, some storage compartments, my camping toilet and litter, and other odds and ends.

I did buy a new cot, so I could keep my other one as a guest bed.  I found this six pack of wood-like foam squares at a thrift store last year for only $1.  I'd say it was my greatest find.

I prettified my camping toilet by placing it inside of my old collapsible laundry basket.

I'd been struggling trying to figure out how I could add a sink.  Well, bingo boingo, I came up with the perfect solution.  I found this pretty little baby at the Habitat ReStore.  And thanks to my friend, Erv, he hooked up the cutout for my steel bowl.  The rest was simple, well a bit challenging, but simple in theory.

I've been studying YouTube videos, Pinterest posts, van life blogs, etc. in an effort to get the best ideas and designs.  And I think it paid off for me.....

I just need to add some velcro strips to close the gaps.

I used a lace table cloth as a 'bug screen' for my side door.

My Wagan 12v cooler and Schumacher power bank/jump starter.

I hope to do a video tour soon.  I'm so pleased and excited with the near final results.  I have just a few more touch ups to do, and she'll be ready.
