March Madness 2020

March Madness is usually associated with NCAA basketball.  While that still holds true, March 2020 had a totally different kind of madness.

Coronavirus, aka COVID-19, decided to emerge with a vengeance.  Since I don't follow the news as much as I should, I don't even know where it started-either China or Italy.  I do know or believe that it isn't new, since it's been on Lysol cans for some time.  However, this year is its year to wreak havoc, causing a national toilet paper shortage.  We're supposed to be quarantining ourselves, which is uber difficult for me.

Church has been held only via streaming.  I'll now be working from home beginning 3.23, which may not be a bad thing.  I can now wear jeans everyday.

Someone's car at Wal-Mart with the back seat full of toilet paper.

Empty toilet paper shelves at Wal-Mart on 3.12.20.

A different angle of the empty shelves.

Prior to this, we attended Wildin' Out at the PNC Arena on Wednesday, March 11.

I had some laughs, but I got in a little nap during Micheal Blackson's set.

On February 22, a dear friend's daughter transitioned due to a car accident.  On March 22, we honored her by sending pink flowers down the river at her fave spot at Eno River State Park.

The pink specs are the flowers floating along the river.
